What Mark Madeley, founder of Cover Your Assets, brings to your business is insight, resourcefulness, patience, and the commitment to listen and respond to your individual and business needs.

His approach is a natural result of his breadth of experience in both production and service environments; private, public, governmental, and not-for-profit organizations; and years of managing the same kinds of transactions and systems that you manage each day.

Mark was winning math awards as early as elementary school, and he completed his Bachelors degree in Organizational Behavior at Stanford University, finishing in the top fifth of his class. He chose this degree to prepare for leading teams and transforming businesses.

He first served in the logistics and warehousing division of Oracle Corporation, a company that was doubling in size every year. This tumultuous environment inspired his passion for efficient operations and effective processes.

Moving into public service, Mark served as a National Park Ranger and then as a private environmental educator and challenge course leader. Through these experiences, he developed an appreciation of what works and doesn't work in communicating with others, and he discovered his patience and aptitude for training and educating others.

The next twelve years would find Mark developing business management skills at the insurance agency where he became the partner in charge of operations and finance. He self-studied and successfully passed the rigorous CPCU exams to become a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.

In 2008, Mark certified in QuickBooks, became an Intuit ProAdvisor and launched Cover Your Assets in 2010 to help business owners take full command of their businesses. In 2014, he completed the Advanced Certification in QuickBooks.

Mark understands and has compassion for the small business owner and the many hats he or she has to wear: sales, service, HR, purchasing, and IT, among others. He knows that you got into business because you can do a better job for your customers than the other guy and that you want the freedom to serve your customers and live your life according to your values.
